ERC processes non-hazardous industrial wastewater. Our facility is equipped with a charged neutralization system and incorporates a 3-stage dissolved air flotation system. That means we can process upwards of 250 gallons per minute at an acceptance rate of up to 110,000 gallons per day.
The facility treats the water to acceptable parameters for discharge to local POTW. All of the resultant floc from wastewater streams are filter pressed and sent to a Subtitle C landfill.
Wastewater Treatment Using Ultra Filtration:
ERC provides a treatment system to handle a variety of waste streams. These liquids run through ultra filtration system which is able to remove up to 99% of the color, and meet all discharge parameters.
ERC also operates a separate system that implements a plate and frame filter press to handle non-hazardous industrial wastewater with high solid content.
Everything that is brought to the facility is tested before treatment. Lab technicians will take pre-samples of a perspective waste stream to customize the treatment and authorize the process.
The average testing time is approximately 30 minutes from the time the truck arrives and a sample is taken, to a full analysis. Then the truck will be unloaded for processing. All waste is manifested with copies retained on location.
